Is spirituality part of your life?

How important is spirituality in your life?

Spirituality is such a powerful and individual thing and each person has their own way of expressing themselves with this.

Even those that don’t see themselves as spiritual have something inside them that is a central core and we call it belief instead of spirituality.

For this post, I am going to call it spirituality though, hopefully you feel comfortable with expressing that word in your own personal way.

So how do I express spirituality??

Spirituality to me is a way of life, in my meditation, daily oiling rituals, gardening, basically anything that connects me with mother-earth is part of what I see as my spiritual acts.

Every time I put my hands in the dirt to pull out weeds or plants seeds or plants I feel a gentle vibration coming through the palms of my hands this is the vibration of the earth that I can feel, the living essence of the earth.

When I touch a tree, the coolness, roughness of the bark, and warmth are all feelings that go through my body.

I feel the energy from those living plants and from the ground.

This is how I know that something greater than myself exists and if I tune into it I can feel elation, happiness, and a glow that is beyond words.

So how do the oils work with this?

That is a fair and reasonable question, I find that since the pure essential oils contain the very essence of the plants that they come from, adding that to the olfactory senses of the body creates a relaxing state of mind.

Personally, I find that using oils in my rituals whatever they may be helps to feel the emotions attached to the deeper senses that I can’t explain.

My life itself is blessed and I can’t ever complain about how I was brought up, it serves no purpose.

What serves a purpose is to believe and embrace and that is how I live my life with spirituality.

Believe, embrace, and trust,

These three words outside Change and NO have been a big part of my spirituality throughout my life.

It isn’t something I speak about, nor do I see the need to force how I feel on others.

It is such an individual thing.

But, without embracing the trust I have in the universe to guide me I couldn’t and wouldn’t believe in the miracles that I am so grateful for in my life.

Yes, spirituality is a big part of me and I will continue to live my life believing, embracing and trusting in the guidance of the universe and showing gratitude towards the great spirit for everything that s/he does for me in life.

Have a blessed day and may the gratitude of life bring you joy in yours

xx
