How do you relax?
Relaxation is a mental health, physical, and spiritual necessity to our lives, it helps our cognitive abilities to reach their highest potential, our stress levels to reduce helping our brain functions to become healthy and adapt more quickly to stresses in life.
I utilize essential oils, meditation, yoga, and QiGong in my relaxation practices, these help me to be a better wife, mother, and friend to those around me.
So how do I utilize these together?
Well firstly, those who have followed me for a long time know that I am a Yogaholic and LOVE my yoga and everything it entails, I also love oils and everything they entail.
So utilizing oils with meditation isn’t something that would be new to those who have been following this blog for a long time.
Since trying a new brand of essential oils I have been enjoying the deeper relaxation, the sustainability of an amazing product, and the beauty that both oil brands have.
I choose to relax with diffusions of essential oils, these oils need to show me that the companies are dedicated to sustainability, regulations, and eco-friendly harvesting of oils that are high quality and pure.
I couldn’t tell you which is better as they both have great quality control, sustainability, and business ethos as well as amazing products.
It is really a personal choice as to the relaxation and relaxing products you would like to choose.
I have included videos from both companies, I am now using the Young Living oils to relax as this is the new company I am enjoying spending money with.
However, I will always have products that come from DoTerra as they have amazing oils and the oil blends that I love for relaxing are favorites.
The use of essential oils in relaxation is something that delights the senses, oils bring down the neural tension relaxing the body and mind in an effortless motion.
To regulate emotions with oils the part of the brain that is directly linked to the olfactory system (smeller system, nose) helps to elicit feelings and trigger memories that can positively (sometimes negatively)help reduce stress, and anxiety and encourage a general state of calm.
