The practice of “Self Care”….

How do you practice self-care?

So, how do you practice self-care???

This a valid question in a society that views self-care as something that is either for those who need help or those who can afford the time.

I use essential oils in the home, bath, after shower, travel, and many other ways within my life with the many scents that can have different emotional benefits for our bodies, brains, and mental health.

So, as a peri-menopausal “bitch” I have an oil blend to help my fellow bitches relieve tension so we don’t chase that rabbit down the bitchy rabbit hole. A good carrier oil,

Now that you have that blend it is time to have it near your bed and in your car for those tense negotiations with the kids, partner/hubby, or just because someone is pissing you off and you haven’t found the reason why yet.

Add a couple of drops to your palms and circle them around your neck up behind your hair, take three really deep breaths in and out, and slowly feel the shoulders relax and the bitch subside.

Depending on how bad the mood is, you may need to massage longer and breathe deeper.

Eventually, slowly, the bitch will climb back into her box until the next tense negotiation needs to happen.

Grab any of these oils from either the Young Living or DoTerra ranges via the links available here.

The oil and a smile – this should help those tempers calm down …
