As we all are well aware, to travel you need cash and without cash you’re kinda house grounded.
Over the last few weeks it has been time to hit the cash raising work again and this is how we have been doing it. (nope it ain’t sponsorship deals or affiliate programming that gets this families cash in).

We are lucky in where we live and what we can and do, do.
Stock work ( not the shop variety) is where we have been doing our work over the last few weeks.
Running cattle through yards, having the chase us up the rails and getting them healthy and ready for winter by working with them has been a blast.

Many people try and convince those of us that travel, blog and share to social media that they way to get cash to travel is online affiliate programs.
You know what I have tried this in a few ways and the thing is, unless you’re happy to turn your blog or social media into a sales channel it really isn’t the cash cow people try to sell you.
I have found, despite adding some links to our link-tree address (which are only things we use or wear all the time, hubby and wranglers HAHA) that people really aren’t interested in this.
So all that said, back to work we go, wrangling some cattle and having fun while we do it.

I am by admission a digital nomad and I use certain computers, mobiles and programs to support my activities (which I am sure is why you all follow me so you can know my tech).
However, working via physical activity has always been my love as much as travel.
We travel out on adventures with the kids camping, hunting, hiking and fishing so that they can enjoy an educational experience that being at a bricks and mortar school simply can’t provide.
This is no different to our work ethos, we need our children to learn that to get, go or have what you want, need you need to work it doesn’t fall into your lap as easily as people make out.

So what am I trying to say in this post? well an unpopular view…
You got to work to play it isn’t going to come from affiliate programs and sponsorship unless you are extremely lucky or only worked your way through that system to be able to do it.
I love travelling, writing, working and having fun and that is why despite the Link-tree page our travel funs like everyone else.
Comes from the cash work we do not another scammer trying to convince you to pay for a $2000 course that will make you a star.
To play hard you work hard, and this is something that we want to in still in our children as we produce honey, work cattle for others and play with goats for ourselves.
These things give us the freedom to travel out (not permanently) but often enough that we can always look forward to the next weekend…
Okay, so this post was going to be all about cattle, work, kids and mud… well that sort of got weigh laid by the phone call I got while starting this blog post…
Guess everything in life isn’t linear but twisting and turning just like this today…
Enjoy your travels, weekend or family… just have a smile and some fun…
Cheers.
